May 5th marked the official launch of Cirrus Argentina in Buenos Aires with our ISC Partner, Cielo SA. The principals – Marcelo Paviotti, Fred Machado, Nestor Preti and Sylvina Paviotti – have been very gracious hosts and eager to become part of the Cirrus family.
The day kicked off with a media event attended by four publications and Volando por TV, a cable show filming for a future episode. Marcelo and Cirrus VP Ian Bentley added the Argentine flag to the collection on the cowl of the SR22T.
The Inside Cirrus Event was attended by over 60 people with several driving more than 200km just to see our aircraft. One gentleman arrived around 9pm as he was so determined to get a look. The pilot-heavy crowd was most impressed with the Cirrus Perspective™ by Garmin® avionics. The event was capped off by several days of Demonstration Flights.
